Bird Thongchai McIntyre is the most popular singer and actor of Thailand.
People known him as "Bird" and his fans call him is "P'Bird" it's mean brother
in Thai. He went on to release many successful albums. Initially he also acted in
many TV lakorns(drama), of which the most well-known was Koo-Kum TV lakorn.
He won two Best Actor awards(Mekra and TV Golden) for his role as Kobori, the
Japanese navy captain. After a break of nearly ten years, he returned to the big
screen to film Sunset At Chaopraya, the movie. It was an instant success, winning
acclaim not only in Thailand, but in Japan, other Asian countries and International.
